Speak Magazine - jhr’s annual human rights magazine – is looking for article pitches! The theme of Speak this year is “Human Rights in New Media”. All story pitches related to rights in new media will be considered. The deadline for pitches is March 1st. The writers for accepted pitches will be notified on March 2nd and asked to submit their complete articles by March 12th.
As a pitch, we would like a brief (half page) outline of the article you would like to write and the story you want to tell. Please include the people you plan to interview and their contact information if possible. If you’ve already written something that would be suitable for Speak, please don’t hesitate to send it our way. This is a great opportunity for chapter members to have their work published in a widely read and well established magazine. Don’t miss out!
